Zultys is announcing the WIP 2 phone, its first wireless LAN phone. The WIP 2 phone works over any standard wireless 802.11b network, allowing users to use the same features as a desktop IP phone while roaming throughout the building.

Competitive Advantage:
The WIP 2 is a fully functional IP phone that has all the PBX features of a ZIP 2x2 phone. Users can make it as their only office phone, making it a substitute for the wired phone. Other SIP wireless phones lack the feature set to function as the primary phone.

Two call appearances, single button paging, full duplex speaker phone, 128 bit AES voice encryption, 3-way conferencing, presence, instant messaging, hold, transfer, DND, and other standard telephony functions. Provides four hours of continuous talk time and 12 hours of standby time.
